Beer culture in the Czech Republic has been recently included by the Ministry of Culture on the list of intangible assets of traditional folk culture of the Czech Republic. Czech beer and brewing have historical, cultural and economic significance for the Czech Republic. That is why we decided to create a thematic collection on Czech beer.

Beer is an essential part of Czech identity and social life and, in addition to its cultural legacy, brewing is also an important economic sector that supports exports and contributes to tourism.
