Miloš Zeman - hospitalization of the president

On October 10 2021, the day after the elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, president Miloš Zeman was transferred to the Central Military Hospital in Prague.The public was not informed about the reasons for his hospitalization. For the first time in the recent history of the Czech Republic, politicians discussed the activation of Article 66 of the Constitution, which allows delegation of powers from the president to other constitutional authorities.
